Let's just start with "Learning to Cook"
Sometimes you'll see that my recipes don't always give exact measurements... that's because I don't believe in them since I don't know what your taste preference is.
When it comes to cooking, you need to be innovative. You can't always rely on people giving you exact instructions on how to live life, same thing with cooking. If the recipe is too salty for your taste, then obviously you'll adjust by putting less salt. What's written down in recipes isn't always the best, you can substitute certain ingredients for others and it'll still taste good. Bottom line is... YOU are the chef so YOU make the decisions on how you want your dish to taste.

Why Cook?
What are the other options? Eating out, eating fast food, eating junk food, etc. These options are more costly, unhealthy, and just not practical for everyday life. Everyone has to learn to cook at some point, even if it's just a little. Whether you're making an omelette or making a dish at a 5-star restaurant.
Being Fancy
Okay so in my opinion food taste better when it "looks" better. Your eye speaks for your stomach sometimes so if the food looks good, it'll feel more satisfying, just human nature. So learning culinary arts isn't a bad thing, just a few basic things will make your dish 'look' better.
Practice!
I'm here to help you out with tips, how-to's, and provide many recipes for you; but it's up to you to implement them into your database and get used to the cooking routine. So pick up an apron and start cooking c:
