Marinate Ground Beef with 1 TB salt, 1 TB Black Pepper, 1 TB Oregano,
Cook the pasta (only 6 strips should be enough)
Add 1-2 TB salt into the water to help prevent pasta from sticking
After the water is boiled, add in the lasagna and cook for about 10-15 minutes keeping an eye on it and stir when needed.
Meanwhile make the meat mixture...
Add in 1 TB Olive Oil, 2 TB Minced Garlic, 2 cup of Onion and fry until onion and garlic turn brown.
Add in Beef and break down into little pieces and cook until beef turn brown. Drain out extra oil if needed.
Add in Marina and stir with beef until mixture is brought to a low simmer.
(Optional) If you want to make it spicy add in 2 TB of red pepper flakes into the beef mixture.
Time to build the Lasagna!
Here's my set-up with the cheese ready to go:
First layer the bottom of the pan with 1 cup of the meat mixture:
Then add about 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 TB of Parmesan cheese for the next layer
Then line 2 Lasagna strips to the next layer
Then spread 1 TB of ricotta cheese to each strip of Lasagna
Repeat these steps twice more. -Meat -Shredded Cheese -Lasagna -Ricotta -Meat -Shredded Cheese -Lasagna -Ricotta
When you reach the 3rd time to spread on Ricotta Cheese, add the rest of the meat mixture on top then 1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese, 1 TSP of Oregano, and 1 TSP Garlic Salt.
Put it into the oven for about 10 minutes @ 350 Degrees.
Here's the outcome, cut into pieces and serve.
** I garnished the plate first with some meat mixture and Parmesan cheese and oregano.
