Ingredients
1 lb Chicken Leg
1 TSP Chicken Bouillon
Fresh Basil
1 TSP Chinese 5 Spice
1 TSP White Sugar
1 TBS Soy Sauce
1 TBS Rice Wine
1 TSP Black Pepper
1 TSP White Pepper
Flour
Oil, for Frying
Marinate the Chicken (cut into bite sized pieces) with all the ingredients except for oil and flour. Add as much Basil as you see fit
After about 30 minutes, coat the chicken with Flour. (I removed the Basil before I did this and just added in about 1-2 cups of flour in the mixing bowl and tossed the chicken around until its evenly coated)
Add basil to a pan with 1/4 deep oil and wait until the basil gets fried for about 1-2 minutes
Add in the Chicken and fry it on one side first (I don't have the material to deep fry otherwise you wouldn't need to flip it later)
Flip it after the other side is brown. (Right side of the pan is flipped, left side is not yet flipped). I fried the chicken in 2 separate batches so i don't overflow the pan.
Let it sit on a Paper Tower or Drying Rack to Dry then serve, garnished with some extra fresh basil.
